Aspire Springers trampoline club up for award
An inclusive trampoline club for both children and young people, with and without disabilities, is up for nomination in the 'This is Gloucestershire' awards.
The awards are for local sports stars or clubs nominated by the public, with the trampoline club up for Senior Club of the Year and coach Dawn Lawson for Coach of the Year.
The trampoline club teaches from basic level up to a more advanced stage from fully qualified staff. Members also have the chance to compete at a national level if they reach the required standard.
The most remarkable aspect of the club is that it is voluntary, as Pat Bailey, the Gloucester city sports development manager pointed out in an interview with This is Gloucestershire "Aspire Springers Trampoline Club is a shining example of what any voluntary sport club should be aspiring to.'
