Trampolines and exercising outdoors can boost children's learning
'Definite transferable skills' have been identified between sport and exercising outdoors, parents have been told which includes the use of trampolines.
David Mbaziira, head of marketing and communications at Sporting Equals, suggested that parents rate education higher in importance than the benefits of children playing outdoors.
The Department for Education recently ended the £162 million PE and Sports Strategy of the previous labour Government, giving schools time to concentrate on competitive sport.
"More support is required for deprived communities to help sport become a career option, as it's often not seen as viable to pursue due to the support costs involved." He added.
Investing in a trampoline is a great way to start getting your children into outdoor play.
